The Innovation Days 4 AI, led by SCAI, is an ambitious initiative to develop AI solutions that benefit society while preserving natural resources. Combining elements of a hackathon and an educational program, it offers a unique experience in multidisciplinary and entrepreneurial project management.
Dedicated to PhD students from Alliance Sorbonne University, the “Innovation Days for AI” is a 4-day immersive experience blending academic and industrial approaches. The program features expert talks and multidisciplinary teamwork focused on real-world Artificial Intelligence projects.
The 2026 challenge will center on the design of AI systems by exploring Human-Machine Interactions (HMI) within the Healthcare sector, with a specific focus on usability, trust, accountability, and integration.

Day 1 — May 5, 2026
UNDERSTANDING THE HUMAN ELEMENT IN AI
- Morning: Program kickoff and expert sessions on AI usage, human factors, and technology adoption.
- Afternoon: Team building, user identification, and workshops to define needs and constraints.
Day 2 — May 6, 2026
DESIGNING INTERACTION
- Morning: Keynotes on interface design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and integrating patient-centric approaches.
- Afternoon: Concept development and solution prototyping.
Day 3 — May 7, 2026
VALUE, IMPACT, AND ACCOUNTABILITY
- Morning: Expert insights on accountability, regulation, and business strategies for AI solutions.
- Afternoon: Business model structuring and project mentoring.
Day 4 — May 11, 2026
COMMUNICATION AND DEPLOYMENT
- Morning: Sessions on communication strategies, ecosystem engagement, and deployment.
- Afternoon: Final project wrap-up and pitch session before a professional jury.
