Machine learning is one of the most electricity-consuming fields with a rapidly growing development, which has a strong negative impact on the climate crisis. Based on this alarming observation, "what position should we adopt when working in this sector?"
Building on the success of the 2022 and 2023 editions of the JRAF, which brought together around a hundred participants, we are pleased to renew the event in November 2024.
The JRAF aims to take stock between us, researchers in optimization/learning, theorists or experimenters, to present our work, discuss it, debate and exchange our thoughts.
