L’AFIA (Association française pour l'intelligence artificielle), au travers de son collège Technologies du Langage Humain (TLH), l'ARIA (Association de Recherche d’Information et Applications) et le GDR TAL (Groupement de Recherche - Traitement automatique des langues), avec le soutien du projet ANR-GUIDANCE, organisent la deuxième journée commune sur le thème de l’"Accès interactif à l’information" le 5 décembre 2024 à Paris (Jussieu).
L'objectif de cette journée est de réunir chercheurs-euses en Intelligence Artificielle, en Traitement Automatique des Langues et en Recherche d’Information travaillant sur les aspects interactifs de l’accès à l’information. Cette journée sera alors l’occasion de confronter les expériences de la recherche interactive dans différents domaines d’applications, tant du côté avancé de la recherche que du côté des applications industrielles.
La journée sera composée de deux présentations invitées, de sessions avec présentations courtes suivie de posters et démonstrations pour susciter les discussions, et se terminera par une table ronde.
Nous sollicitons des communications pouvant porter sur tous les thèmes de l'accès interactif à l'information, en particulier sur les thématiques autour des grands modèles de langage, incluant, de façon non limitative :
- Agents conversationnels (ex : chatbots, incarnation/avatars, génération de dialogues, génération augmenté par la recherche d‘information) ;
- Annotation et construction de corpus de grand taille ;
- Apprentissage actif ;
- Apprentissage par renforcement ;
- Construction de ressources (en particulier Francophones ou multilingues) ;
- Evaluation de systèmes interactifs et de grands modèles de langage ;
- Explicabilité (ex: du choix des informations proposées par un chatbot, transparence des systèmes) ;
- Influence de la qualité des ressources, biais, équité/impartialité ;
- Interaction multimodale et/ou géolocalisé ;
- Interface et interaction humain-machine-robot ;
- Modélisation de l’utilisateur ;
- Personnalisation (persona et côté utilisateurs) ;
- Recherche d’information immersive ;
- Résumé automatique abstractif et/ou interactif ;
- Retour de pertinence (relevance feedback) ;
- Système questions / réponses extractives et génératives ;
- Vérification/véracité du contenu ;
- Recherche d’information générative ;
Les propositions de communications orales sont attendues avant le *** 1 novembre 2024 *** sous la forme d'un résumé d’une à deux pages comprenant un titre, une liste d'auteur.e.s, une liste de mots-clés et un résumé du contenu de la présentation proposée en respectant la feuille de style (latex) ci-dessous :

The AFIA (French Association for Artificial Intelligence), through its Human Language Technologies (TLH) college, the ARIA (Information Research and Applications Association) and the GDR TAL (Research Group - Automatic Language Processing), with the support of the ANR-GUIDANCE project, are organizing the second joint day on the theme of "Interactive Access to Information" on December 5, 2024 in Paris (Jussieu).
The objective of this day is to bring together researchers in Artificial Intelligence, Automatic Language Processing and Information Retrieval working on the interactive aspects of access to information. This day will then be an opportunity to compare the experiences of interactive research in different fields of applications, both on the advanced side of research and on the side of industrial applications.
The day will consist of two invited presentations, sessions with short presentations followed by posters and demonstrations to stimulate discussions, and will end with a round table.
We are seeking communications that may cover all themes of interactive access to information, in particular on themes around major language models, including, but not limited to:
- Conversational agents (e.g. chatbots, incarnation/avatars, generation of dialogues, generation augmented by information search);
- Annotation and construction of large corpora;
- Active learning;
- Reinforcement learning;
- Construction of resources (in particular French-speaking or multilingual);
- Evaluation of interactive systems and major language models;
- Explainability (e.g. of the choice of information proposed by a chatbot, transparency of systems);
- Influence of the quality of resources, bias, fairness/impartiality;
- Multimodal and/or geolocalized interaction;
- Human-machine-robot interface and interaction;
- User modeling;
- Personalization (persona and user side);
- Immersive information search;
- Automatic abstract and/or interactive summary;
- Relevance feedback;
- Extractive and generative question/answer system;
- Verification/truthfulness of content;
- Generative information search;
Proposals for oral communications are expected before *** November 1, 2024 *** in the form of a one- to two-page abstract including a title, a list of authors, a list of keywords and a summary of the content of the proposed presentation respecting the style sheet (latex) below:
