The conference, given in French, will revolve around Daniel Andler's latest book, "Intelligence artificielle, intelligence humaine: la double énigme,". In this work, Daniel Andler explores the relationship between artificial intelligence and human intelligence. While AI has made remarkable strides, it remains partly opaque and continues to grapple with the elusive goal of replicating human intelligence. To unravel this puzzle, we must confront another enigma: human intelligence itself. Unlike mere problem-solving, human intelligence encompasses how we navigate various situations we encounter in life. It is fundamentally normative, akin to ethical or aesthetic judgment, making it notoriously elusive.

The conference will be followed by a cocktail in the SCAI premises on the first floor.
