The Joint Winter School NTU Singapore – Sorbonne University - AI for Sciences is a five-day workshop taking place from 26-30 January 2026, at the NTU main campus in Singapore. Jointly organised by the College of Science at NTU and Sorbonne University from France, this event is a key initiative aiming to foster interdisciplinary learning and strengthen scientific ties between the two institutions.

The workshop is designed to bring together doctoral students and faculty members from both universities to explore the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) across a wide range of scientific fields, including biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, mathematics, and physics. Through a dynamic programme of lectures, hands-on practical sessions, and collaborative discussions, the goal is to deepen understanding of how AI tools and approaches can be used in scientific research.

This collaborative event provides a unique opportunity for PhD students to engage with a diverse group of peers and experts, encouraging new collaborations and insights at the intersection of AI and STEM sciences.

Students selected from Sorbonne Université/Alliance Sorbonne Université will have their travel and accommodation expenses covered. Please note that places are limited, and all applications must be submitted via the official application portal.

Application Deadline: Friday 17th of October 2025
