Each year, the Master 2 in Media and Digital Management organizes the CELSA event, designed to showcase the Master’s program and the school. For the 2026 edition, we have chosen to examine reality television and its transformations through a screening and discussion entitled Does Conflict No Longer Sell? The Evolution of Reality TV, which will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Jussieu campus of Sorbonne University (4 Place Jussieu, 75005 Paris).
Diversity, the fight against harassment, inclusive discourse: production teams seem to have embraced the codes of a more progressive audience. But does this represent a genuine societal turning point, or merely a strategy of adaptation? Presented as a reflection of society, does this new generation of reality television reveal profound changes in our culture of entertainment? And how have social media and the influencer economy contributed to transforming the reality TV ecosystem? Our three speakers will address all these questions during a unique discussion built around sequences that have left their mark on French reality television.
They would be delighted to invite you to this event. If you would like to attend the screening and discussion, please let us know by replying to this email or by registering via this link
