Call for Projects “Equipment” 2026

DIM AI4IDF

The DIM AI4IDF aims to strengthen the excellence, visibility, and structuring of artificial intelligence research in the Île-de-France region. It brings together the four major AI institutes of the Paris region — DATAIA, Hi! PARIS, PRAIRIE, and SCAI — around a common scientific program structured into four areas:

In this context, the DIM AI4IDF is launching its 2026 “Equipment” Call for Projects, intended to support the acquisition of scientific equipment that can remove technological bottlenecks, accelerate collaborative research, and facilitate the development of proof-of-concepts.

For the 2026 Call for Projects, funded equipment must be installed in one of the DIM AI4IDF partner institutions (DATAIA, Hi! PARIS, PRAIRIE, SCAI), contribute to the DIM’s scientific priorities, and be operational before December 31, 2026. Projects must involve at least one DIM AI4IDF partner team and demonstrate clear added value for the community, notably through inter-institutional collaboration and dissemination activities (demonstrations, events, sharing of platforms).

The budget allocated by DIM AI4IDF will range from €40,000 to €200,000, with funding covering up to 66% of the total equipment cost.
Co-funding is mandatory and strongly encouraged.

Eligible equipment may be physical (robots, sensors, experimental platforms, servers, specialized hardware, etc.) or digital (software, licenses, technical tools).
In accordance with funding rules, GPU purchases are not eligible.

Proposals must be completed and submitted by email, in PDF format, to: ai4idf_call_2026@inria.fr, before 16 February 2026 at 1:00 pm.
The application must not exceed 3 pages and must include:
