The SCAI (Sorbonne Cluster for Artificial Intelligence) is delighted to host, in partnership with the Faculty of Arts – Sorbonne University, an innovative training program:

“HumanIA: Designing and Deploying AI through Digital Humanities.”

This short and intensive course combines the critical perspective of the humanities and social sciences with the practical use of artificial intelligence technologies. Its goal is to give participants the tools they need to understand, analyze, and implement AI in their professional practices.

 
A Three-Module Program

The course is structured around three complementary modules (which can be taken individually or as a complete program):

• 6 & 7 November: Understanding Artificial Intelligence Systems
• 20 & 21 November: Mastering AI Ethics
• 4 & 5 December: Deploying and Using AI Tools

Across six days, participants will benefit from a mix of lectures, interdisciplinary discussions, and hands-on activities.

An Interdisciplinary Approach

Through HumanIA, SCAI and the Faculty of Arts offer a unique dialogue between the humanities, social sciences, and digital technologies.
Participants will explore:

• The foundations and applications of AI systems
• Their ethical, social, political, and legal implications
• Practical tools for designing and deploying responsible solutions

Professionals deploying or using AI systems
Researchers, educators, and anyone eager to deepen their understanding of AI
All sessions will take place at SCAI – Sorbonne Cluster for Artificial Intelligence, an interdisciplinary hub dedicated to research and innovation in artificial intelligence.
