This state-of-the-art equipment, financed thanks to the support of the Sorbonne Université Foundation and the company DATA4, will allow the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence to meet the growing demand for computing power. 

Modern artificial intelligence requires computing power to test deep learning algorithms and deploy them on large amounts of data. To meet this need and develop increasingly innovative research and teaching activities, SCAI will acquire a "custom" computing machine in January. 

With the support of the Sorbonne Université Foundation, SCAI has received financial support from DATA4, enabling it to purchase this new equipment. The machine will be custom-built (GPU, processor, RAM, SSD) and installed on the Pierre & Marie Curie campus.
