Since its revolution in 2012, artificial intelligence (AI) has been introduced at the heart of digital solutions and continues to evolve rapidly. These recent developments are notable, both at the heart of AI and in its interactions with other research fields. It is by following this logic that this call for projects is defined in order to support the new challenges of artificial intelligence for scientific discovery. It therefore encourages multidisciplinary and collaborative research work aimed at promoting the adoption of AI in scientific practice and the conduct of research.

The call for proposals will finance projects setting up or consolidating a collaboration involving researchers who are experts in artificial intelligence and specialists from other scientific disciplines. Since each scientific field has its specificities, initiatives aimed at structuring each discipline at the national or even international level to develop the AI ​​tools it needs are encouraged.

This call for projects aims to meet these needs through collaborative research projects, at the academic level, the results of which will constitute the foundations of scientific and technological breakthroughs in AI for scientific discovery.
