Following the auditions held on May 3, 2021, the jury selected the following list of projects and candidates.

The jury has highlighted the high quality of the presentations made this year and would like to thank all the participants for their work.

A new doctoral competition will be organized by SCAI in 2022.

 

`Background

Within the framework of the Institutes and Initiatives of the Sorbonne University Alliance (ASU), a campaign to award doctoral contracts financed by the Initiative of Excellence (Idex) has been launched in January 2021. The Sorbonne University Alliance promotes interdisciplinary research and the structuring of training through research with the Sorbonne University Institutes, to which structuring initiatives are added. Institutes and Initiatives thus unite the communities of researchers within the Alliance around a common issue.

Organisation

The recruitment campaign is divided into several phases:

• A call for doctoral research projects is launched among researchers and lecturers at the Alliance Sorbonne-University.
• The doctoral research projects validated by the doctoral schools are submitted to a committee of researchers and teacher-researchers chaired by the Director of the Institute.
• The projects preselected by this committee are published on the Sorbonne University website (doctoral section) and on the doctoral schools' websites.
• Students first send their applications to the project leaders. They will then be auditioned by a jury.
• Selected candidates will be awarded a doctoral contract after the interview.

Until 20/02/21: Researchers submit proposals to doctoral schools
Until 03/03/20: Validation by doctoral schools
Until 19/03/21: Pre-selection of projects
Until 03/05/21: Submission of student applications
Until 21/05/21: Audition of candidates
