From July 7 to 11, 2025, Sorbonne University, SCAI, ISIR and LIP6 hosted the inaugural Franco-Moroccan Research Center Summer School on "Sustainable AI for Resource-Constrained Healthcare".
This interdisciplinary event brought together students, researchers, and experts from France and Morocco to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can be leveraged to support healthcare systems with limited resources.
The program featured a rich mix of keynote lectures, courses, hands-on sessions, panel discussions, and lab visits. Participants delved into key topics such as explainable AI, graph neural networks, large language models, AI ethics in healthcare, and serious games for neurodevelopmental disorders.
With over twenty speakers from leading French and Moroccan institutions, the school promoted international collaboration, mentoring, and networking among early-career researchers.
