The 4EU+ Alliance takes a step further in boosting and sustaining the collaboration of its academic community and opens two new calls that will allow academics, researchers and students of the seven 4EU+ member universities to continue growing together.

In line with the vision of the Alliance to develop a barrier-free and continuously deepening cooperation in education, research and innovation, the SEED4EU+ and 4EU+ Visiting Professorships initiatives aim to strengthen the links between the academic communities of the 4EU+ universities, boost novel ideas and support ambitious projects working towards our main mission: to build One Comprehensive European Research-Intensive University.

SEED4EU+ is an open call that reflects the holistic ambition of the Alliance to further integrate all university missions. Both existing and new interuniversity teams can submit project proposals of sustainable joint activities. Going beyond the traditional programmes and areas of collaboration, the development of transversal and out-of-the-box initiatives is encouraged within the scheme. The funding of this initiative comes directly from the budgets of 4EU+ member universities.

4EU+ Visiting Professorships is the second opportunity that opens to our academics and researchers. During a two- to three-month stay at another 4EU+ university, selected candidates will carry out joint educational and research activities contributing to the development of new educational frameworks, novel expertise and enhancement of knowledge and skills. The programme is funded from the budget of the 4EU+ European University Alliance Association.

The deadline to submit proposals for both pilot calls is 1 June 2023.
