On January 19 and 20, SCAI – Education welcomed more than 40 participants for two days dedicated to exploring, reflecting on, and experimenting with artificial intelligence.
At the heart of this event was “The AIg Puzzle”, an innovative AI awareness workshop developed by the Transformation Office of the University of Geneva.
A hands-on workshop to explore Artificial General Intelligence
Designed as a collaborative, playful, and accessible learning experience, The AIg Puzzle offers participants a concrete way to engage with the key concepts and challenges of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
Three facilitators from the University of Geneva — who also designed the workshop — led the sessions, guiding participants through a dynamic and interactive exploration.
Through this approach, participants were able to:
Training the trainers to scale impact
In addition to the workshops, the two-day program included a train-the-trainers session.
This component enabled participants to take ownership of the tool, understand its pedagogical foundations, and envision how it could be implemented in future training sessions within their own organizations and institutions.
This knowledge-sharing approach fully aligns with SCAI’s mission to support AI-driven transformations through education, critical thinking, and pedagogical innovation.
A collaboration opening new perspectives
Beyond the workshop itself, this event represents a key milestone in the collaboration between SCAI – Sorbonne University and the University of Geneva. It paves the way for future joint initiatives focused on AI education, societal impacts of digital technologies, and the development of critical competencies in the age of AI.
