Dans le cadre de l’EUR IPSL et de SCAI, l’action du groupe SAMA Machine Learning en interaction avec ESPRI-IA et SCAI propose de financer des stages de recherche de Master 2 en 2023-2024 pour promouvoir l’interdisciplinarité IA et géoscience. Une partie de ces stages seront financés par IPSL et l’autre par SCAI.
Si vous pensez avoir des thèmes de recherche qui pourraient être appliqués à des sujets en géosciences ou en environnement, nous vous proposons de faire partie de cette animation.
Les stagiaires pourront bénéficier d’un dialogue ouvert avec les deux communautés par le biais d’un slack dédié aux stages de l’action, ainsi que d’une journée de formation et de discussions début avril, du support du groupe Esprit IA de l’IPSL, d’un accès au cluster GPU du mésocentre d’IPSL et d’une journée de présentation de posters en fin de stage.
Par la diffusion de ces stages sur de nombreuses listes concernant des étudiants en IA et en géosciences, vous aurez accès à des stagiaires de différentes formations intéressés par cette pluri-disciplinarité.
Pour participer à cette action vous devez renvoyer le document joint aux 3 organisateurs avant le 30 novembre 2023. Les sujets retenus seront sélectionnés rapidement de façon à respecter la parité des laboratoires IPSL participant à l’action. De cette manière nous espérons diffuser la liste des stages début décembre pour permettre de joindre rapidement la population d’étudiants concernés par ce thème.

As part of EUR IPSL and SCAI, the action of the SAMA Machine Learning group in interaction with ESPRI-IA and SCAI proposes to finance Master 2 research internships in 2023-2024 to promote AI and geoscience interdisciplinarity. Part of these internships will be financed by IPSL and the other by SCAI.
If you think you have research themes that could be applied to subjects in geosciences or the environment, we invite you to be part of this event.
Trainees will be able to benefit from an open dialogue with the two communities through a slack dedicated to action courses, as well as a day of training and discussions at the beginning of April, with the support of the Esprit IA group of the IPSL, access to the GPU cluster of the IPSL mesocenter and a day of poster presentation at the end of the internship.
By disseminating these internships on numerous lists concerning students in AI and geosciences, you will have access to interns from different backgrounds interested in this multi-disciplinarity.
To participate in this action you must return the attached document to the 3 organizers before November 30, 2023. The selected subjects will be selected quickly in order to respect the parity of the IPSL laboratories participating in the action. In this way we hope to distribute the list of internships at the beginning of December to quickly reach the population of students concerned by this theme.
