Call for Papers and first announcement

The 41st International Workshop on Bayesian Inference and Maximum Entropy Methods in Science and Engineering, MaxEnt’22 will be held in Paris organized by SEE under the auspices of Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) and SCAI (Sorbonne Université).

MaxEnt’22 strives to present Bayesian inference and Maximum Entropy methods in science and engineering: data analysis, information processing and inverse problems from a broad range of diverse disciplines: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Geophysics, Medical Imaging, Molecular Imaging and genomics, Non-Destructive Evaluation, Particle and Quantum Physics, Physical and Chemical Measurement Techniques, Economics and Econometrics. This year special interest will be more focused on:

• Foundations of probability, inference, information, entropy
• Bayesian Physics-Informed & Thermodynamics-Informed Machine Learning
• Machine learning tools for inverse problems
• Bayesian and Maximum Entropy in real world applications
• Geometric Statistical Mechanics/Physics, Lie Groups Thermodyna-mics & Maximum Entropy Densities
• Quantum: Theory, Computation, Tomography and Applications

Please submit your contribution on Easychair, using the MDPI templates that will used both for abstract, proceedings papers and selected papers which will be published in a special edition.

Submission deadline:

• Abstract: April 5th, 2022
• Acceptation notification: April 12th, 2022

Registration:

• For authors: from April 5th to May 24th, 2022
• Other participants: from April 5th to June 8th, 2022
