The IHM’24 conference, supported by the French-speaking Association of Human-Machine Interaction (AFIHM), is the ideal place for discussions on the latest advances in Research, Development and Innovation in Human-Machine Interaction. It will take place from March 25 to 29, 2024 in Paris, France.
This year, the theme of the conference will focus on Health in the sense of the WHO which defines it as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, which does not consist only of an absence of disease or 'infirmity'. Health is a field that is both vast and complex which involves numerous players with very varied profiles, unique interaction constraints and new uses. The conference will provide a place for discussion to understand how to meet the many challenges that researchers face.
The 2024 edition will also remain open to the themes traditionally addressed by the IHM conference. The objective of IHM’24 is to offer a forum for discussion, exchange and sharing between the different actors of the community, with the ambition of:
- promoting the field of Human-Computer Interaction and strengthen collaborations between members of the community;
- promoting interdisciplinarity between human and social sciences, medicine, and computer science
- encouraging the participation of young researchers;
- developping links between the academic world and the business world around HMI issues.
