SAVE THE DATE: AI & Biodiversity Prospective

CNRS Écologie & Environnement is organizing* an AI and biodiversity prospective to explore and highlight the links, in their current and future work, between biodiversity research in the broadest sense and the use of artificial intelligence (AI). By way of illustration, AI is currently used to analyze images, sounds and archaeological content, to extract textual knowledge, to study visual signals, and even for generative prediction in biodiversity.
Where do we stand on this topic? What opportunities does AI create for their scientific questions? What energy-saving strategies can we put in place to remain consistent with our research objectives? What links can be developed with other disciplines?
CNRS invites you to take part in this foresight, in particular at the plenary meeting to be held in Paris on October 13 and 14 (presentations, workshops and discussions on the program).
