The Artificial Intelligence association of Sorbonne Université is launching this year!

Named SOphIA, it was thought of as a place for students, PhD students and researchers to meet, discuss and develop activities in relation with Artificial Intelligence. From conferences to Hackaton and debates, the association with the help of its subscribers will offer many activities. It is for now composed of several PhD students. We wish to welcome many more students from bachelor to PhD, and of all disciplines,  from Social Science, Philosophy to Physics and Informatics.

The launch of SOphIA is scheduled for the 15th of october from 6pm to 8pm. For the occasion, a debate will take place entitled "the digital facing the reality of climate change". We will host 3 experts on digital and AI for an hour of debate followed by a session of questions with the public.

Agenda (the event will be held in French) :

• a presentation of SOphIA,
• interventions of major actors of AI at Sorbonne Université,
• a debate: "the digital facing the reality of climate change" animated by Philippe Pajot, Editor-in-Chief of La Recherche, with Caroline Lair - Founder CEO at The Good AI, Romane Clément - co-fondatrice de Ctrl S and Philippe Bihouix - spécialiste de l’épuisement des ressources minérales.
• a cocktail will follow the debate: ideal to meet people!
