Training for AI Today: Supporting the Digital Transformation of Sorbonne University’s Administrative Staff

Date
14 Apr 2026

The university is made up of diverse stakeholders. Because digital transformation is, above all, a collective effort, SCAI-Education also supports the administrative staff of Sorbonne University in their use of generative AI.

Our goal is to assist every member of the university ecosystem in developing AI literacy, without exception. However, training for AI isn’t about chasing after innovation; it’s about taking the time to do things right—with a critical mind, responsibility, and ambition.

On Tuesday, April 7, and Thursday, April 9, a training session dedicated to generative AI and its responsible uses was held within the administrative and financial department of LiP6 Sorbonne University. It was a rich, practical day that marked another step toward a shared AI culture.

Clear Objectives:

  • Raise awareness

  • Encourage adoption

  • Apply knowledge

On the Program:

  • AI Literacy: Understanding the main concepts and the visible and invisible processes of AI.

  • Ethical, Legal, and GDPR issues.

  • Concrete use cases and practical simulations.

  • Responsible practices rooted in professional realities.

Thank you to the participants for the quality of the discussions, their curiosity, and their desire to go further. Thank you to the facilitators: Marco Salazar and Mickael Zlatkov.
