We are opening a new intership position focused on the detection of insect pollinators in videos using machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• literature review of objects detection in videos and benchmark of the associated algorithms (including foundation models)
• build detection models in Python (from scratch or fine-tuned)
• packaging and tests in collaboration with the biologists

Required skills

We are looking for an intern who :

• has proven programming skills in machine learning projects
• excelent skills in machine learning and data science, in particular regarding neural networks (convolutional and/or transformers)
• has a lot of curiosity
