Cafés of Europe – October 7, 2025: Artificial Intelligence: Environmental Impacts, Issues, and Challenges

A new session of the Cafés of Europe will take place at the Irène and Frédéric Joliot-Curie House on October 7 at 11:00 a.m.

The development of artificial intelligence brings opportunities and transformations, but also many concerns. This presentation will aim to:

• Review the environmental impacts of digital technologies and AI
• Discuss the challenges of scientific research in AI
• Illustrate how AI can contribute to the ecological transition
• Address the societal issues related to the development of AI
