With the launch of the “Choose France for Science” platform, operated on behalf of the French State by the National Research Agency (ANR) as part of the France 2030 initiative, France is taking a stand to counter the attacks on academic freedom occurring across the globe. This platform enables universities, higher education institutions, and research organizations to apply for co-funding from the State to host researchers.
