Call for Experts for the Evaluation of “AI Pioneers” Applications – SNIA / France 2030

As part of the “AI Pioneers” call for projects, launched under France 2030 and the National AI Strategy, the Digital Programs Agency, led by Inria, is mobilizing a panel of experts to review proposals originating from public research.

The initiative aims to support a diversity of stakeholders capable of leading projects with significant technological impact and high economic potential — whether companies or research laboratories, individually or in consortia. Particular attention will be given to projects targeting strategic sectors such as industrial design and production, health, ecological transition, and security.

We are now seeking to build a pool of scientific experts from the academic research community to contribute to the evaluation of proposals during the next three submission rounds (November 5, March 10, and June 9). These experts will assess projects based on criteria such as the relevance and distinctive contribution of AI, key technical performance indicators, and technological feasibility.

Key details:

• One expert review per proposal, to be completed within a two-week timeframe
• Compensation: €650 gross per reviewed proposal
