We are proud to announce the induction of Gérard Biau, a specialist in statistics and machinelearning and the director of SCAI (Sorbonne Cluster for Artificial Intelligence)

He is a professor at Sorbonne University within the Laboratory of Probability and Statistical Modeling (LPSM).

His research, at the intersection of theory and industrial applications, explores the statistical foundations of modern #AI architectures. His work opens up new perspectives for innovation in artificial intelligence and its industrial applications.
