Postdoctoral Researcher in Multi-Agent LLMs for the Ocean

SUAD is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to join a new project at the intersection of large language models (LLMs), multi-agent systems, and physical ocean modeling.

This project is a joint initiative between the Institute of the Ocean and the Sorbonne Cluster for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.

Desired Skills
You have strong experience in the following areas:

• Deep learning
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Multi-agent systems
• Physical modeling
• Advanced programming (Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, HPC)
• Solid record of scientific publications
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and excellent communication skills in English
  
  

Requirements

PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computational Physics, or related fields

Position Details

• Location: Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi
• Salary: Between 55,000 and 60,000 USD per year
• Start date: September 2025
• Duration: 2 years
