Training in AI today to support the digital transformation of Sorbonne University’s administrative staff
The university is a rich ecosystem, driven by a diverse community of stakeholders. And because digital transformation is above all a collective adventure, SCAI-Education is also supporting Sorbonne University’s administrative staff in discovering and mastering the uses of generative AI.
Supporting the entire university community—faculty, students, researchers, and administrative staff alike—in building an AI culture. Because training in AI isn’t about chasing every new technological wave. Above all, it is about building informed uses, developing critical thinking, and promoting a responsible adoption of these tools.
On Tuesday, May 19, a training session dedicated to generative AI and its responsible uses was held within the Finance and Procurement Department of Sorbonne University.
A day rich in discussions, discoveries, and concrete reflections, representing another step forward toward a shared AI culture. Our three-tier training model allows participants to progressively develop their knowledge and usage of generative AI: raise awareness, master, and apply.
🎯 On the agenda:
-
Discovering the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence and generative AI tools.
-
Strengthening the understanding of these technologies and identifying relevant use cases for professional activities.
-
Supporting a progressive, critical, and responsible integration of these tools into daily work practices.
Because AI literacy and ethical considerations are at the heart of what we do, our ambition remains the same: to develop responsible, concrete uses anchored in professional realities.
A huge thank you to the participants for the quality of the exchanges, their curiosity, and their eagerness to explore new possibilities. Thank you to Marco Salazar and Mickael Zlatkov for this training session! 🌟
