As part of AI Rendezvous Quebec 2025, this training offers a targeted introduction to generative artificial intelligence and prompt engineering techniques — a must-have skillset for professionals looking to harness these technologies effectively and responsibly.

Participants will explore:

• the fundamentals of generative AI models, their strengths and limitations;
• an analysis of their applicability, including in educational contexts;
• how to design prompts tailored to specific objectives;
• advanced methods such as few-shot prompting and chain-of-thought prompting.

The workshop will include hands-on practice, giving attendees the opportunity to design effective prompts for real-world scenarios.
