Max CERF is senior expert engineer at Ariane Group where he has worked since 1990. His activities focus on the optimization of trajectories and vehicles for space transportation : launchers, missiles, orbital and interplanetary transfer, atmospheric re-entry and landing, space observation and surveillance, defence ...
He also holds a “habilitation à diriger des recherches” since 2019 and teaches in engineering schools and universities. He has published a book in two volumes on continuous, discrete and functional optimization methods (Techniques of optimization I and II, published by EDP Sciences) with an English version to be published in 2023.
