Activities

Overview the professional milestones, academic responsibilities, and international collaborations that drive our center’s double ambition to excel in both research and education.

Raphaël Fournier-S'niehotta joined Sorbonne Université as a Lecturer (~associate professor) in 2024. He conducts his research in the ComplexNetworks team at LIP6.

His research interests include Complex Networks (i.e., graphs as observed in nature, with specific toplogical features) and Machine Learning. He has been applying theoretical results on graphs to Recommender Systems for many years. Most recently, he studies Graph Machine Learning techniques (GNN and Graph-formers). He has also extensively worked on symbolic Music Information Retrieval.

Previously: He obtained a Ph.D. in 2012 from Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie, and was a post-doc at Université Paris 13 from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, he joined the CEDRIC lab at Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, where he was associate professor until 2024. He received an Habilitation (HDR) in 2024.
