The project IDmyBee aims at improving the identification of species of bees in Europe.

Researchers from Institute of Ecology and Environmental Sciences (Sorbonne Université) aim at using machine learning technique to implement an automatic bees classification system. Technically speaking the goal is to predict the species of bees using deep convolutional learning techniques on a database of +3000 wing pictures of bees.

The SCAI team supports the biologic researchers to implement the machine learning tools.
