Activities

Overview the professional milestones, academic responsibilities, and international collaborations that drive our center’s double ambition to excel in both research and education.

Xavier Juvigny is a French mathematician and researcher who completed his studies at the Jacques Louis Lions laboratory of the Pierre and Marie Curie University. He defended his thesis in applied mathematics, focusing on the resolution of large linear systems on massively parallel machines. After obtaining his doctorate, Xavier Juvigny joined ONERA as a research engineer, where he expanded his knowledge in various parallel algorithms used in both distributed and shared memory systems.

His expertise spans several areas including acoustics, specifically in ray tracing on GPGPUs and acoustic compression of matrices from boundary elements. In addition, Xavier Juvigny takes a close interest in the development of quantum computers and their programming, keeping a strategic awareness of this constantly evolving field.
